Needing little in the way of an introduction, the 6138-8020 "Panda" is arguably the most sought after addition to every vintage Seiko collection. Finding unmolested original examples has nearly become an exercise in futility. The market is full of cobbled together goods rife with aftermarket dials, hands, tachymetric rings, pushers, and overly polished cases. You’ll find none of that here. This example from June of 1977 is in phenomenal condition, and absolutely original aside from a replacement crystal. The dial and hands are flawless, and the case is crisp and unpolished.
