Seiko's 6105-8000 is a masterpiece of dive watch history, and needs little in the way of an introduction. Worth pointing out though, is the stellar condition of this example from January of 1970. Completely original, it is likely the finest specimen of it's kind we'll ever have the pleasure of offering. The cushion style case is near mint sporting its factory circular brushed finish which meets the polished edges at the sharpest of corners on all sides. The bezel insert shows very few wear marks, and at it's top center is the original pip with a deep and pleasing patina. Beneath the crystal, the matte black dial is immaculate with its large markers boasting the evenly colored and original luminous material put there over 47 years ago. The hands are broad polished batons, free of discoloration or degradation, and sweeping around the dial is the signature "stoplight" second hand still sporting it's pink lower plot. Attached, and in fine condition for wear, is the almost never present original Seiko "Waffle" strap. Complete, and worthy of any collection, this opportunity will likely be an unrepeated short one.
